FIBODO - BOOKING MANAGEMENT PLATFROM
MY ROLE
I worked for fibodo for more than two years. Starting as a designer, later become the UI director of the company responsible for both the design of thebrowser and mobile -app version of the software. “fibodo” is a booking management platform used by sport and activity professionals.
From booking, payment, offer, ad, etc. management to profile and product creation, live diary and messaging, the apps had to handle everything the browser version of the software did. The main challenge was how to compress a large amount of content along numerous functions onto a small screen. The solution had to be to create a simple and clean design to relay the information in a clean and legible style.
THE
FIBODO
APP
My main goal with the design was not just to make the functions seamless to use but for the functionality to be easy to grasp and adopt. This is crucial for keeping a user engaged in order to create revenue in competitive markets. I followed Raymond Loewy principle called MAYA (Most Advanced Yet Acceptable) using layouts that the user would find familiar but also new.
