SpaceScan is a hand-held transparent plexiglass in which projected visual contents can appear and be changed by the movement and/or position of the user. The first prototype of SpaceScan and the concept to create a system that can be controlled by gestures, movements and the relative position of its user was created a few years before Kinect for Xbox (a motion sensing input device produced by Microsoft) entered the market. The interface of SpaceScan was continuously developed (from scratch) by Hungarian freelance media artists, designers and programmers under my direction.
